We’re advocates for a BARF diet i.e. Biologically Appropriate Raw Feeding, as this is what dogs where naturally designed to eat. Dogs have short, simple digestive tracts and high levels of hydrochloric acid in their stomachs. This makes them anatomically equipped to derive their nutrients from raw animal protein, fat, and bone.
